  • Results from dermal fillers are usually seen right after the procedure, but there may be some swelling or bruising at first. The final results become clearer as the swelling goes down, typically within a few days to a week.

  • Yes, hyaluronic acid fillers can be removed with an enzyme called hyaluronidase if you’re not happy with the results. However, other fillers like calcium hydroxylapatite or poly-L-lactic acid cannot be reversed, so it’s important to talk about your options with us before treatment.

  • To reduce bruising and swelling, stay away from blood thinners (like aspirin or ibuprofen), alcohol, and some supplements (like fish oil and vitamin E) for a few days before treatment. Your provider will give specific guidance for the best results.

  • Dermal fillers and tox are different treatments. Fillers add volume and smooth out wrinkles, while tox relaxes facial muscles to reduce wrinkles from facial expressions. Many people use both for better facial rejuvenation.
